Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. She was raised listening to traditional and old boleros, along with classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a fan of tangos and operas as well as other theatrical performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious singing lessons at the age of 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican tenor FlavioBecerra. She furthered her training in music at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to Southern California. She is currently performing the traditional Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. She is passionate about singing, music as well as the arts keeps active in community projects for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her love and love for the traditional Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation to keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
