MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music has seen major international inroads into the Latin pop culture. Una Lady Como Tu (his 2016 hit) received the Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN as his debut full-length album. It reached the number 8 spot in the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca, one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaborative effort with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that year, Dopamina was his follow-up album. In 2021, he appeared as a duo with TINI on her most streamed track Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo has an instrumental background. Both his mother and elder brother are also musicians. In interviews, he referred to his participation in music as compulsory. He learned how to play guitar, saxophone Ukulele, and piano while a young child. Though his original career plan was that of a veterinarian for animals, his brother Julian convinced him to try studying singing with a Cuban. The lessons revolutionized his entire life.
